　　The University of Victoria Residence Life Staff are employees of The University of Victoria who live and work in the residence halls. They, in conjunction with the Residence Life Professional Staff, put on a variety of programs throughout the year, to enhance the quality of life for residence students.

　　Residence is guaranteed for all new full-time students entering their first year of university in an undergraduate program, whether they live outside or inside Toronto, who are offered admission to their program of study by July 1st and who have indicated their interest in residence on their application for admission. Students must indicate a desire for residence when on their initial application.

　　Apply through Admissions and Awards if you are seeking undergraduate admission to any of the following divisions at the University of Toronto:
　　Faculty of Arts and Science, St. George campus, University of Toronto at Mississauga (UTM), University of Toronto at Scarborough (UTSC), Applied Science and Engineering, Medical Radiation Sciences, Music, Nursing, Physical Education and Health.
　　The University of Toronto operates on an academic year rather than a semester system. It is not possible to begin in January. Students begin their studies in September and continue until May of the following year. A summer session is also offered at the University of Toronto at Mississauga (UTM), the University of Toronto at Scarborough (UTSC), and the Faculty of Arts and Science, St. George Campus.
